Bring Your Own Item (BYOI) Process

At Done Wright Embroidery, we love helping you add that special, personalized touch to your own items! Whether it’s your favorite jacket, a tote bag, or a cozy sweatshirt, we can make your vision come to life. Here's how our Bring Your Own Item (BYOI) process works:

1. Select Your Item: You choose the garment or accessory you’d like to have embroidered or customized with our embroidery or DTF (direct-to-film) heat press services. It can be anything from a hat to a hoodie – just ensure it’s something that can be embroidered or pressed. Need advice on item compatibility? Don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

2. Design Consultation: Once you've picked your item, we’ll work with you to select the perfect design. Whether you have a logo, name, or custom design in mind, we’ll guide you through our font, color, and style options to make sure the final product is exactly what you want. You’ll also have a chance to review and approve the design before stitching begins.

3. Drop-Off/Shipping: If you're local to Philadelphia, you can drop off your item at our studio. If you're not nearby, you can easily ship it to us. Just be sure to include your name and order details with the package.

4. Embroidery or Pressing: Our skilled team will carefully stitch or press your design onto your item, ensuring precision and quality. We take great care in handling every item, but since embroidery is a mechanical process, there's a small chance of damage. We recommend only bringing in items you're comfortable with embroidering, as we can't be held responsible for items damaged during the process.

5. Pick-Up/Shipping Back: Once your item is complete, you can either pick it up in person or have it shipped back to you. We’ll notify you when your order is ready and provide tracking information if shipping is required.

Important Notes:

  • BYOI orders typically take 10 business days to complete from the time we receive your item.
  • Ensure the item is clean and in good condition for the best results.
  • Some fabrics or materials may not be suitable for embroidery or heat pressing; if we have concerns, we’ll let you know during the consultation.
